This Month's Favourite Scarf Knot - Holiday Tops

Dear Friends and Scarf Lovers

It's official, summer has arrived! And for this reason, this month we are sharing our favourite scarf knots to create holiday tops!

The first look is by the fabulous Peony Lim using our SS15 Mermaid Medium Scarf Scarf. For this look you will need to fold two of the opposite corners of the scarf towards the middle to make a thick band, tie it around your body with a big double knot or a bow at the front.

The second Look is by Hermès using two scarves: a long scarf and a medium square scarf. Simply tie the long scarf to one of the corners of the medium scarf and tie around the neck. Next, tie the corners of the square scarf together at the back so it holds around the body.

The last look is from our SS17 look book using two small silk scarves. Simply tie both scarves together on each top corners, and wear it with a belt around the waist to hold it together.

Have a lovely summer everyone, make sure to give these knots a go!

xoxo

Scarf Knots To Make Summer Dresses

We hope you are enjoying the Summer!
This month we want to show you our two favourite ways to wear your scarves as summer dresses.

For most of the styles we recommend using large scarves, this style as worn by Susie Bubble above for example uses 2 large scarves. To get the look, simply tie the top right corner of the first scarf with the top left corner of the second scarf and tie the top left corner of the first scarf to the top right corner of the second scarf. Use a few pins to hold the bottom of the scarves in place.

For the second look we used two large scarves (120cm x 120cm) and one long scarf to tie around the waist as a belt. Knot the top right corner of the first large scarf with the top left corner of the second large scarf. With the knot behind your neck, drape the two scarves on your shoulders and over your chest. Position the two scarves to cover your body and hold in place by wrapping the long scarf around your waist as a belt.

This Month's Favourite Scarf Knot - Scarf Knots To Make Pretty Summer Tops

It's finally the holiday season and if you are planning to go away this Summer,
these will be great knots to know!

For the first one, you will need two small silk scarves and a belt. Knot the top right corner of the first scarf with the top left corner of the second scarf. Do the same with the other two top corners, this will create the neckline. Put your head through, the knots should be on your shoulders, tie the belt around your waist to hold the top.

This last knot can be tied using a medium or a large square scarf. Hold the scarf from the two top corners in front of you, tie a knot on each side, roughly 30cm down each corners (make sure they are at equal heights). The lower you tie the knots, the lower the neckline of the top will be. Holding the two knotted corners, wrap around your neck and tie one last knot behind to hold. Wrap the two bottom corners around your waist and hold the scarf in place with a belt.

For the second style, you will need a large square scarf, at least 120cm wide along the edges, the larger the scarf the better! Fold the scarf into a triangle and hold the scarf over your chest with the right angle pointing down. Wrap both corners around your back, bring the left corner up towards your right shoulder and take the right corner underneath your arm back towards the front. You should have both corners up on your chest at this stage, simply tie a knot to hold, you can also use a pretty brooch instead!

Our favourite scarf knots for the festive season!

As you all know scarves can be worn in so many ways, they are amazing! What I love in Winter is a silk scarf can be worn more as a star accessory as opposed to keeping you warm ( They can do too, but let's be frank nothing better than wool when it's really cold!) Below is a small collection of scarf knots ideas, from the famous Fridah Kahlo head scarf style (Tutorial here), to Juliane Moore's very stylish pussy bow with a white scarf on a stylish LBD, to Susie Lau wearing a square scarf as a top below, such a nice way to show off a print.

My favourite look of all though will have to be this one below, Susie Lau wearing her whole collection of Hermes scarves all tied together into one evening dress, truly amazing!!
