Happy May Day Everybody!
This month, our focus is on evening headscarves.
We love how it's such a fun and quick way to dress up for an evening out. We've selected three different looks that we hope will inspire you all.
The first look uses a long scarf wrapped around the hair and knotted on the side of the head. You can let your hair loose at the back or have it up tucked inside, both styles work very well.
The second look is from our SS17 lookbook. We used an animal scarf that we tied around the hair and knotted at the top with a big bow. It is important with this look to cover the ears and to make sure the bow is neat and even.
The third look, worn by the fabulous Greta Garbo, is using a long scarf that goes around the head but doesn't cover the top. It is worn quite low, just above the eyebrows and it is knotted on the side.
Like this look? Give it a try with our Animal Scarves!

Depending on where in the world you are at the moment, you might find it's too warm to wear your scarves around the neck. For this reason we wanted to share with you some chic headscarf looks.
It's official, Spring is upon us!
To celebrate we want to share our favourite head scarf: The Turban
We love turbans here at the CFM Studio! Not only can they rescue a bad hair day, they can also be worn in the evening as a glamorous head piece, à la Grace Kelly (see below).
In essence, the turban is quite a simple knot to create. All you need is a long scarf. Depending on it's width, you might want to fold it in half lengthwise. Line up the centre of the scarf with the base of you head. Lift each side up to cover your ears, twist at the top and knot at the back.

Enjoy!
Happy February everyone!
Let’s start the month with one of our favourite scarf knots, The Bandana Style Knot!
It is a personal favourite, I could almost call it my go-to knot! I love how it adds a dash of colour to an everyday outfit :-)
This style is very simple to do and it can be achieved using a square scarf of any size!
They all start the same way; First, fold your square scarf in half from one corner to the other to form a triangle. Bring the two corners which are furthest away from each other over your shoulders and around your neck.
For smaller scarves, simply tie a knot behind your neck adjusting the front to create some attractive folds.
For larger scarves, wrap the two corners around your neck and bring them back over to the front, then tie them into a simple knot or a bow.
You can also knot each corner individually to give them a little weight or wear it loose over your shoulders as seen below in the last photo by Hermes.
As you can see, there are many possibilities!
